I’ve spent over 30 years bridging the gap between complex technical systems and the people who use them. Today, I’ve pivoted that experience into a focused mission: building AI-powered apps and digital products that solve real problems for real businesses.
I believe a product should be as rugged and reliable as the businesses it’s built for. Whether I’m building a subscription app from scratch or troubleshooting a complex digital platform, I treat every project as a partnership. I combine a U.S. Air Force veteran’s discipline with a deep, hands-on fluency in modern AI and LLM workflows — not just for content, but for actually shipping working software.

What I Do:
I run Al Tollefson Studio — The Pixel & Prompt Co. I design and build AI-powered apps and digital products, from the initial idea to a live product people actually pay for.
→ Most recently, I built CommsUp, an AI-powered Google Business Profile assistant for local service businesses — positioning, the app, the marketing site, and the copy that sells it, end to end.
